Message from the Management:

Hello and welcome to the new season of our Fantasy Football competition! First and foremost we would like to thank you all for choosing to play again and, as you will see, we even have one more team than last year!

As some of you will already know, we sadly lost our friend Les recently and, as he always entered a team every season we have decided to do the same again in his name for this coming season and, should his team happen to earn any winnings, we will donate the money to the charity he supported which is MS.

Anyway, on to the first league table results of the new season and our first Manager of the Week is Dave with his Inter Anything team scoring 62 points! Well done! He's obviously making an early bid to win again! This week's red face belongs to the manager of the B's Knees team (yours truly!) who only managed to score 11 points...hopefully the only way is up though!

Lastly, to tidy up the admin side of things, the prize money at the end of the season will be distributed as follows:-

1st: £50

2nd: £30

3rd: £12

and £2 (+£2 held over from last season) will be awarded to the team that finishes in the same position as the National Lottery bonus ball drawn on the last weekend of the football season
